  7. xDMS  is  a public domain portable program to unpack DMS files.  It is
  8. written  in  ANSI C and can be compiled in most platforms.  It will be
  9. more  useful for users of Amiga emulators, but is also useful for real
  10. Amiga  users  aswell.   This  archive  comes  with the source code and
  11. binaries for Amiga.

  14. xDMS Features:

  16.   Supports  decompression  of  files  compressed  using  all known DMS
  17. compression modes, including old and obsolete ones, and also encrypted
  18. files, for 100% compatibility.
  19.   Can  test  DMS  files  integrity,  view  file  informations and show
  20. attached Banners and FILEID.DIZ .
  21.   Can  generate standard disk images and compressed disk images, using
  22. gzip, if you want to store your files in ADF or ADZ formats.
  23.   Can  extract  the  files  contained  inside the DMS archives, if the
  24. compressed  disk  is  an  AmigaDOS  disk, using readdisk made by Bernd
  25. Schmidt.
  26.   Can  process multiple files in batch with a single command, and also
  27. use stdin and stdout for input and output of data.

  29. This is the PPC Version for WarpOS. Some of you might have noticed the
  30. little porting war between me and Andreas Kleinert. It still continues.
  31. If i do not port EVERYTHING Andreas uploaded, then, as i think the world
  32. does not need another PPC Native Basic Interpreter... also have a look
  33. at my other released, that don't have to do anything with Andreas'es
  34. stuff (also for WarpOS of course... :) )
